Hurricane Sandy and Climate Change


Hurricane sandy which now heading to US allegedly not usual transform into the biggest hurricane in US over the last 100 years. the dimension of sandy hurricane due to climate change, doesn't it?
David Robinson from Rutgers university like what announce by Levescience, Monday (29/10/2012). said, to earlier to assume sandy hurricane that appeared since 22 October 2012 in Caribia because of climate change.

"you can't take this moment then connect it with another phenomenon. unless there are some conditions heading there,"
but, Kevin Trenberth from national center for Atmospheric research said, connecting between the dimension of hurricane storm and climate changes is reasonable, the changes of environment may stimulate the creation of more larger hurricane.

hurricane formed in tropical area aftermath of heat around sea surface. the sea temperature is increasing rapidly to 0,5 celcious over the last centuries. the temperature movement may create a tropical storm.
the notification on September 2012 shows that the current tropical hurricane move much faster compared to the last storm 25 years ago. hurricane can reach speed 208 Km per hour, 9 hour earlier from the usual hurricane.
Trenberth said, with the warmer Temperature, the air clammy 4% higher. this will stimulate the creation of more tropical hurricane.
