Windows 8 and Windows RT

Microsoft officially launched new windows 8 operating system on Friday (26/10/2012). different from the earlier windows 8 version that only belong 3 version.

the three versions are windows 8, windows 8 pro, and windows RT. what are the diversities among this three version? Windows 8 and Windows RT

there are not any significant diversities between windows 8 and windows 8 pro compared to windows RT.

Though the outside appearance very similar but windows 8 and windows 8 RT have an obtrusive sign

The fundamental diversity is hardware platform supported by each version. Windows RT can only be run on a hardware with ARM processor. Windows RT was unable to be installed on a hardware with x86 and x64 processor.

Otherwise, windows 8 can only be run in x86/x64 processor and unable to be operated with ARM hardware.

Another diversity, windows RT already includes Microsoft office home and student 2013 (Word, Excel, Power point, and OneNote)

With this application, Windows RT user do not requires to cash any money to have such office tools.

Nevertheless, Windows RT has a fatal lack, the old desktop application from the previous windows, can’t be run in Windows RT. Windows RT users can only use the up to date application that available in Windows store, with a few numbers.

On the other hand, windows 8 and windows 8 pro may experience a new thousand of applications. Not only in desktop application but also windows store.
